The Mourne Motorcycle Club will kick start the 2017 off-road racing season at Dunmore Mountain on Saturday, January 28.
This will be the first local cross-country event since 2015 and the first ever championship cross-country event held in County Down.
The event will be the first round of the Foyle District Motorcycle Club’s 2017 offroad Championship and the riders taking part will tackle several laps on the fast and tricky terrain around Dunmore Mountain, Spa, on a course that covers several miles.
Bikes will be on the track from 10.30am with four hours of cross-country racing on the day. Competitors will be in two separate groups for Clubmen and Experts, with each taking to the course for a two-hour race.
Entry to the Foyle/HTM Offroad XC Championship event, held by the Mourne Motorcycle Club, at Dunmore Mountain will be free for spectators.
