Clubs first Barley Stubble for years to kick off 2014 season… CANCELLED

Mourne Motorcycle Clubs 2014 racing season is about to kick into life again with the first barley stubble the club has run in a number of years.

Saturday, January 18th 2014 will see the first race hosted by Mourne MCC for this season run close to County Down village of Seaforde. There will be classes on the day for Adult solos, Adult quads, Adult evo and sidecar outfits also. Transponders will not be required for this event

Entry fees have been reduced to be more appealing you… the riders.
£20 per rider (solos & quads) to ride multiple classes if you so desire, and £30 per sidecar machine.
Come on guys, get behind us and make this a success.

It is with regret that the club is going to be unable to run next Saturday’s Barley Stubble event planned for 18th January at Seaforde.
After recent inspection of the location we had lined up, it has been felt this location is unsuitable, due to the amount of wet weather we have had lately, and also with the forecast for a wet week ahead.
We have explored numerous other locations all week, but with no success. Therefore we have decided to cancel this event at early notice. We thank anyone who had already pre-entered the event and will return cheques this week.
We may look at a possible new venue in the coming weeks ahead. Keep an eye out for more information over the coming weeks.
